Presidential Chandeliers?

Its official we have a new President. For the first time in a long time (okay, ever) the White House will be housing a younger, hipper sensibility. Can you say design coup? The design nod went to Michael Smith. Congratulations Michael! For those of us in the trade it has been a fun month seeing all of the items that Michael has spec’d for the White House. My suggestion? These amazing “armless” chandelier sculptures.

If you look closely you can see that each piece of the chandelier is suspended independently. It gives this magical, elegant feeling as if the light is floating in space. They are so unique and original that they really capture the WOW factor, just like the first couple. I love them!

We’ll have to wait and see what makes the cut in the White House, but I vote for these magical chandeliers from Moura Starr!
